The Friends
Who we are and what we do….
The Friends have been set up to ensure the church remains within our community and is maintained in good repair, and we would very much welcome your help and commitment to save our beautiful church, St Nicholas.
The cost of maintaining and repairing the the Grade 1 listed building and church yard is very significant and too much for the small regular congregation. The church recieves NO FINANCIAL HELP from the the government or Bristol Diocese.
The objective of – “Friends of St Nicholas Church” is to raise funds solely to preserve and repair the fabric of the building, and grounds for the benefit of future generations to come. St Nicholas Church has diligently served our village for centuries, it is now up to us to ensure it is there to pass on to future generations.
